I work for Photobox as a Senior Front End Engineer. I've been a UI developer for over 12 years, most of this time in digital agencies. It gave me the opportunity to work on a huge variety of websites for clients like National Rail Enquiries, Microsoft, Vodafone, National Express, Debretts, Institution of Structural Engineers, AIG Life and many more. My first professional agency website was for UCL Union in 2000.
I originally created htmldev as a repository for all the tips and tricks learned over the years. I use all of these techniques regularly, they are (with the exception of some IE6 bits) valid html and css and above all else they work. It's still going to continue on that theme, but I also now have opinions. There may also be a few posts about my random hobbies such as keeping chickens, fishing and more normal hobbies like travelling.
I'm a huge advocate for building accessible websites, so expect a few posts on that too.
